Installation & Commissioning

Full installation and commissioning services for all KOHLER UPS systems and standby diesel generators.

KOHLER UPS Generator

Overview

First thing first, critical power equipment must be properly installed and commissioned to ensure a long and trouble-free working life. Whilst some small single-phase UPS systems simply plug into a standard mains socket, larger UPS systems like communication room UPS systems (typically over 3kVA) and life safety equipment such as emergency lighting power systems must be electrically installed and commissioned by skilled and qualified professionals. Likewise, with generators; larger standby generator systems, typically over 10kVA, should be professionally installed and commissioned.

Additionally, a generator must be properly matched with all other power equipment for continuous power to be guaranteed.

Process

As a leading supplier, our project team will work closely with you, from start to finish, ensuring your UPS, battery and/or generator installation is commissioned safely, on time and with minimal disruption to your business. We’ll carry out a full site assessment including access, environment, space and floor loadings on your intended installation area(s). We’ll then arrange delivery and placement, arranging special lifting and craneage if needed. We’ll organise all the electrical and mechanical work needed.

Our factory-trained, highly skilled field-service engineers will then commission and test the complete power protection system. They work in accordance with factory-issued commissioning procedures and written method statements and provide full commissioning certification for warranty validation.
